When does Clarity send SMS messages?
Twice a week, no spam. (1) Daily at 6 PM in your local time zone, but only if there are pending transactions that need your input — if everything auto-categorized, no message. (2) Thursday at 9 AM, a weekly recap with revenue, top expenses, and any open items.
ARTICLE 02
What does a typical 6 PM message look like?
Short and bundled. Example: "Hey Sarah — 3 transactions tonight: 1) Stripe $1,240 — Sales income? 2) Amazon $89 — Office supplies? 3) Lyft $24 — Travel? Reply: 1y 2y 3n or send corrections like '3=meals'." Replying y/n confirms; you can also write full sentences.

How do I reply to SMS questions?
You can answer naturally — Claude interprets your reply. "Yes to all" works. So does "1 yes, 2 no, 3 is travel not meals." So does typing the full category for any line. There's no rigid syntax to memorize.

How do I turn off the daily 6 PM SMS?
Settings → Notifications → toggle off "Daily SMS." You can also reply STOP to any message to opt out of all SMS (Twilio compliance). Note: if you opt out, transactions below 90% confidence will sit in "pending" until you log in and clear them manually.
ARTICLE 05
How do I change the time the SMS is sent?
Settings → Notifications → adjust "Daily SMS time." It honors your local timezone (set under Settings → Profile). Many freelancers prefer 10 PM after dinner; restaurant owners often pick 2 PM during the lull.

Can I text the AI questions outside the daily message?
Yes. Text anything to your Clarity number any time and Claude will answer: "How much did I spend on software this month?" "Did I get paid for invoice #1042?" "What's my profit so far this quarter?" Responses usually arrive in under 10 seconds.
ARTICLE 07
What's the Thursday weekly report?
A short SMS every Thursday at 9 AM with: this week's revenue, this week's expenses by top 3 categories, any pending transactions older than 7 days, and a "things you should know" line if the AI spotted anything unusual (e.g. a recurring charge that suddenly increased).
