Common questions
What does "catching up the year" mean?
When you sign up, we pull your transactions back to January 1st of the current year, categorize everything, and get your books fully current. This typically takes 24–48 hours depending on transaction volume. Once your books are live, your free month starts.
When does billing start?
Your first bill comes one full month after your books go live — after the catch-up period is complete. You'll get an email reminder 7 days before your card is charged.
Can I switch from Core to Pro later?
Yes, anytime. You'll be prorated for the remaining days in your billing cycle. Switching to annual on Pro can be done mid-cycle as well.
What banks and accounts are supported?
We use Plaid to connect to 12,000+ financial institutions — Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, credit unions, and most major credit card issuers. If your bank supports online banking, it almost certainly works with Plaid.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, no phone call required. Cancel from your settings page and your account stays active until the end of the billing period. Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted.
Do you store my banking credentials?
No. We use Plaid, which connects to your bank via read-only OAuth. We never see your login credentials. We also can't move money — only read transactions.
