When does Clarity send your check-in?
Once a week, no spam. Your check-in arrives on the day and time you choose, in your local time zone, but only if there are pending transactions that need your input. If everything auto-categorized, no message. It bundles your pending items plus a weekly recap with revenue, top expenses, and any open items.
ARTICLE 02
What does a typical check-in look like?
Short and bundled. Example: "Hey Sarah, 3 transactions this week: 1) Stripe $1,240, Sales income? 2) Amazon $89, Office supplies? 3) Lyft $24, Travel?" Tap to review each one, confirm with a tap, or write a quick correction like "3 is meals." You can also answer in full sentences.
ARTICLE 03
How do I answer the AI's questions?
When the AI needs help with a transaction you'll get a push notification from the Clarity Books app. Open it and reply in the chat. You can answer naturally; Claude interprets your reply. "Yes to all" works. So does "1 yes, 2 no, 3 is travel not meals." So does typing the full category for any line. There's no rigid syntax to memorize.
ARTICLE 04
How do I turn off check-in notifications?
Settings → Notifications → toggle off "Weekly check-in." Note: if you turn it off, transactions below 90% confidence will sit in "pending" until you open the app and clear them manually.
ARTICLE 05
When does the AI check in?
Once a week, on the day you choose under Settings → Notifications. It arrives as a push notification in the app and honors your local timezone.
ARTICLE 06
Can I ask the AI questions outside the weekly check-in?
Yes. Message the AI in the app any time and Claude will answer: "How much did I spend on software this month?" "Did I get paid for invoice #1042?" "What's my profit so far this quarter?" Responses usually arrive in under 10 seconds.
ARTICLE 07
What's the weekly recap?
A short recap included with your weekly check-in (push now) with: this week's revenue, this week's expenses by top 3 categories, any pending transactions older than 7 days, and a "things you should know" line if the AI spotted anything unusual (e.g. a recurring charge that suddenly increased).
